DevLog#12 - Goodbye
Everything comes to an end, as our game production. After all the weeks we finally finish our game!
The last few weeks were really intense and we changed a lot.
Besides a lot of Bug fixing we also implemented more animations, particles and player feedback. This was one of the most important tasks, to give the game more juice. The usable items all have indicators now, that they are usable. Also the trashbin is now more clear how to use it for the mom.
Another big task was the balancing of the mom and the babies. To make it a bit easier for the mom, the bar shrinks all the time.
Art wise we changed some UIs and polished the particles. We changed some textures and made some minor changes on lighting and environment.
What we learned
To work on the game was a great experience for all of us. We learned more about teambuilding, splitting tasks correct and setting up a game from the start to finish. But also in the pipelines we learned a lot. We all got more into Unity ( or experienced Unity for the first time) and figured out how complicated it can be sometimes to work on the same project.
One of the most important points was the feedback, that we constantly got from teachers and students which helpt us a lot to make the game better.
Thank you for everyone who read our Devlogs and followed us on our way through heaven and hell and have a lot of fun playing our game.
And now the only question is, who will win? Mom or babies?
